CROOKED RIVER HOUSE

River House Rental

Our Mission

The mission for this Snake River hideaway is to  be as gentle to the earth as possible while enjoying this magical spot above the water.Hence, we don’t use any scented laundry/cleaning products or plastics as much as possible. The plan is to make sure whatever is here can melt gently back into the earth. It is appreciated if visitors to this sweet place have that same mission.

About

Nestled along the Snake River, this cozy retreat offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. From the screened porch, enjoy stunning views of towering white pines and cedar branches. The riverside platform is perfect for yoga or relaxation, while the river itself has walkable areas with deep pools for exploring.

Wildlife enthusiasts will love spotting bald eagles, herons, and sandhill cranes, while nights bring the soothing sounds of a barred owl and a sky full of stars.

Please note: The terrain includes steep hills and stairs, so guests should explore at their own risk. For safety reasons, pets and small children are not allowed. Guests are also expected to pack out their trash to help preserve the environment.
